halftime and afterparty

Pies and tarp, going on my list.

I can bake pie and I think I may have a tarp too. I'll have to dig through some camping stuff. Patches, I'm totally down for some pie baking party action.

How bout we just do whoever gets done with their pie firstt and kids their slice first.

Might want a couple of buckets too. I heard there was some hot dog eating contest in downtown Normal recently and there was much puke involved.

I cannot be around this if there will be puke involved. Seriously.

If it's just a speed thing (and not a quantity thing), I think we'll be fine. I just, of course, had to go *there* 'cause I'm gross and shit.

We could make the pies smaller, so the quantity isn't too bad = less chance of puking, but it's still a whole pie, which is funny.

And will they have to eat these without forks? Without hands? Are we gonna put a giant pile of spray whipped cream on each one? What does Mr. Bates get to do with the spray whipped cream at the afterparty?

definitely no hands so we will need lots of paper towels or wet wipes or maybe a hose to rinse everyone off!!!

Maybe some sort of tarp or poncho would be good for the contestants to wear so they won't get all messy and then have to watch the rest of the bout sitting in their own delicious pumpkin pie filth

Those disposable rain ponchos would be perfect.

They have those at Meijer (in adult and kids size). They are super cheap. How many do you think we'll need? I can donate them.

Hey Nonny - sorry I don't remember but what time would you like the Gamma Phi performers to get there? The director said he is going to see if anyone would be available, but the date might be a problem. The good news is he said the performers who were at the Peoria bout thought it was very cool and are still talking about it!

THey will perform roughly around 740ish. But it would be great if they could come when doors open and do some tricks while people are coming in. Thanks!! t

Hey all - just tryin to get a feel for where we landed on pies......we are gonna bake them, yes? and did we decide on 10 - regular or smaller sized?
I am still willing to offer up my house/kitchen for pie baking fun, and will purchase ingredients for at least 2 pies......thoughts? 2cents?

Okay -

So we are doing one slice for kids and one whole pie for adults. Are we going to have these going on at the same time. Since we only have ten minutes, I am worried about the time to set up, introduce and explain the rules, have the contest and tear down.

I think if we do the kids first and the adults second, the adults should have a three minute time limit and who ever eats the most (without vomiting) wins.

Also, do we have prizes for these people? A missfits shirt? I can make two coupons to redeem a MissFit shirt at the merch table?

And who are the helpers for this?

Jeerleaders will be helping with this. And that plan sounds good to me. And. Yes I believe we were planning on shirts as prizes[quote]
