Halftime show

Our bout planning committee will be organizing the halftime show!

At Tipton yesterday, some guys from skate dynasty (jam skating team in Bloomington) have us their business cards and asked if they could do a half time show. I think the one guy's name was James. He said they have insurance now. Their email is skatedynasty1@gmail.com and they are also on Facebook.

We should also ask them about their practice space and whether or not can pool our resources...

That awesome, but unfourtunatly due to Wftda we can't have skaters that aren't insured by Wftda to skate even if they aren't a missfit.

We can def talk to them about that! I don't mind contacting them about it. I know they practiced at the skate n place. But now I wonder where they go.

Can we check that insurance restriction again. Cause I have seen videos of Windy City having jam skaters and skate boarders at the held time.

I recall ice saying something like they can't participate unless they're insured as a group and can provide a certificate to prove it. At least that's what I told them and jump for joy last year. I also believe its true that minors are a greater liability?

Yes, they just need show proof of liability insurance.

"If you allow another league or outside entertainment to perform during halftime of your bout (or between bouts, if you're having a double header) - your entertainment must provide their own general liability coverage and provide proof of insurance for your event in the form of a certificate of insurance" - WFTDA forum

So, we will be contacting them to see if they can do it.
