The mixer teams are now yellow (white) and purple (black) incase that matters:) the Purple team name is TEAM AWESOME and the yellow team is currently working on their name.

we were doing the relay for one and best boutfit for the other then check presentation. that was my understanding. for advertising its as simple as posting on facebook about it we have some diehard fans that dress up anyways if noone else does we will just pick them!! since this is the first time we are doing it we may not have as many people dressed up but if we continue doing it people will see other people dressed up and will start doing it themselves!!!

ok, but what if we have no one....can we do the pin the star as a back up?? i assumed we were doing both...my bad....i'd like to have a back up just in case cause i'm weird like that

I don't know if there is a thing about naming mixer teams if there is another team with that name, but Team Awesome is an actual All-Star roller derby team made up of skaters from the big National teams. They don't really have a schedule but you will see them pop up on posters from time to time, they hold boot camps and usually you see them at roller con. (Last year they played against Team SeXy). I don't know if they have actually had thier name approved or anything, or if that matters but just thought I would throw it out there. If we are advertising Team Awesome within the derby community, I don't know if it would cause an issue or not. . . .

Tayz I looked into it and since we arnt selling anything with the names we should be cool...and the yellow teams name will be You Wish
