garage sale

so the fantastic fundraising committee met tonite and lots of great things will be happening this year!! one of our most succesfful fundraisers last year was a garage sale soooo we are looking for a host for this years garage sale!!! we are looking for a date in may yet to be determined. we are hoping to schedule it around a neighborhood garage sale to increase traffic. sooo let us know if you would be willing to host this fun-raiser and if your neighborhood usually has a scheduled sale date!!! also start saving your big ticket items so we can maximize our profit!!! if you have stuff you would like to donate but cant store them until the sale let us know and we will find a temporary home for it!! thanks missfits you RAWRk!

Memorial Day is may 27th that's usually a pretty big weekend I like garage sales!

Dimmits Grove is the neighborhood I live in. Really close to the library and downtown. Every year they have a big neighborhood group sale type thing where everyone has sales on the same weekend. I live right off Washington so a ton of people drive by my place. I would be willing to sell your guys' junk. Just let me know

I'm not sure what the date is but I'll look into it. If it's in the spring we should have a plant sale too. I've had some success in the past selling tomatoes and cucumber starts as well as herbs and stuff. I know Missfits have some green thumbs that could be put to good use

If it didn't work out at Rita's, I would be willing to have it at my place again!

Bump. Anyone else interested in hosting this over Memorial Day weekend, so we can choose the most ideal location? We will likely start the planning of this soon.

So, we've got two options so far: Slay and Rita. Rita, do you have a garage in the event that it rains? If not, because Slay does, I think we should consider having it at her house so we won't have to reschedule the event.

And we're looking at the Friday and Saturday of Memorial Day weekend (May 24 and 25).

Is the Dimmits Grove sale that weekend?
