08/13 (Saturday): CornBelters Game

When: Saturday August 13th 2011/Time TBA

Where: CornBelters Field in Normal

We will be selling tickets to this game for profit. This will be a huge event for promo. State Farm will be there that night which means tons of people. Also there will be bands in the parking lot before hand. We will have a merch table. And we get to throw out the first pitch!!!

Oh and there will be a guest celebrity there!!! Don't know who yet.

I have tickets now to sell for this event. I don't know what time we will need to be there yet as there will be bands in the parking lot before the game so we will need to be there for that skating around and selling merch. The allstars be in quincy bouting against dark river. So I will be there. Ms. Bam b smears will be incharge of this event! We will let you know as soon as we know what time to arrive at:)

This will be so fun! Cant wait!

Alrighty: Bands start at 2pm and game to follow. So we need MissFits out there at 1-1:30pm. Skate around and sell Merchandise. The A team will be gone in Quincy. We need as many MissFits out there as we can! Face time and promotings is so important!! Not to metion you get to watch a baseball game! Bam B will be incharge since I will be gone, so please refer to her with any questions. Also Bam B and I will be picking someone to throw the first pitch. So August 13 turns out to be Roller Derby's official birthday - its 76th, this year!

We'll have to make the Cornbelters game a party. I'm going to try to put together some sort of "Roller Derby History" display for our table. And there will definitely have to be some sort of birthday celebrating before and/or after!

i plan on going to the game that day to help, but does anyne have any outside wheel i could use for this event? i haven't had a chance to get some. thanks!

Is there going to be a practice this day too? I have something going on in the evening but I can prolly help out during the day before the game.

To help SAW entertainment. We will also be selling tickets to the game at the game. We'll have a table at the North Gate at 1pm. We will need a couple of peeps to sit at this table as well. So as people enter we will have a table selling tickets. Bam b will have the tickets. Cash only sale. So please start pushing these tickets and push them while we are there.
