Cornbelters Game, 08/16, Friday

Fundraiser/PR event with the Cornbelters.  We will sell tickets for $11, earning $3 of the admission.  This also gives us the ability to promote our bout the following weekend, with PR incentives being currently discussed.  There will be fireworks after Friday night games this season, so hopefully that will draw a larger crowd!!

I have acquired the tickets for this game.  Because we had to put money down and will have to pay for any tickets that are left unreturned (before August 10 or 14...can't remember which), I think we will be asking that if you are checking out tickets, please have the money to pay for them.  Of course, if you return tickets that are unsold before the cut-off, a refund can be given.  Keep in mind that if you are going to the game, you will have to purchase a ticket ($11 each, we get $3 of that). 

If anyone has any other suggestions on how to do this, please suggest away! 

Also, please let me know if you want tickets so I can bring them! 

At the game, we will get a table and have announcements throughout the night, which is great since it's right before the bout!!

If we're going to start with the tickets- can I go ahead and create the event for Facebook?

okay- so just to make sure I have this right - we owe them $120, which we can pay that night. And each game ticket gets a raffle ticket, which everyone must fill out a form for and turn in?

Also, from reading the emails, I see that you discussed that we will do the National Anthem performance, a first pitch opportunity and the additional PA reads from the announcers?

All of that is correct. It is a done deal, but you need to coordinate with Joe as it gets closer to give him the announcement and plan the other stuff. Thanks!
