Manda- yes, I have a Star Wars font
Trisha- I get a great price on the supplies so I'm not charging $ for these, just bruises.
Zook- I totally found a picture to work for your left hook
If anyone wants this done before the bout, I need to know how big you want your decal, if you just want your name or if you want your number too. If there's a specific picture you want turned into a decal, I can possibly make that happen also. Just send me a message on here or FB. And remember, I only have white vinyl right now.

I just want my name in a military type font. I can show you my helmet so you can help me decide what size I can work with. Thank you SO much!

Re: Gear/Wear FAQ (merge here)
so ivy is quitting her job and we are having a decal making party? i think that is what i heard
Re: Gear/Wear FAQ (merge here)
Omg, if only I could quit my job and do derby stuff full time, that would be amazing. I'm still getting used to the software, but I'm hoping I can open an Etsy store eventually so I can do this for derby girls everywhere.

Now that would be awesome! I'm kind of a self proclaimed Etsy expert so if you ever need help getting set up, holla!

Re: Gear/Wear FAQ (merge here)
$60, you must think I get paid for this lol. They are only $35 on Bruised Boutique and we get a discount...I was thinking of going to Dicks to try some on hehe
Re: Gear/Wear FAQ (merge here)
Sure you can find them in more places. Just showing you the list of them. Amazon had them listed for less too but they were all jumbled.

Re: Gear/Wear FAQ (merge here)
I have the Triple 8 in a small and at the bout they said my chin strap was too loose, but it is as tight as it goes... I kind of just had to move my head a different way so it was tight enough
If you do end up getting a smaller one, can I please try it on? I want to get a new one soon anyway because I have a friend that will paint it for me!

Re: Gear/Wear FAQ (merge here)
I have an idea to write up a FAQ that we can post here and also give to freshies... how to clean gear, clean wheels, replace wheels, etc. But in the meantime I'm just stacking up posts here.

Re: Gear/Wear FAQ (merge here)
Ariel and I are in the market for new toe stops - I just have the little triangular ones that came with my Riedells, and I think that's what she has, too. We both need something bigger and with a longer rod, so we're not tilting quite so far forward when we get up on the stops. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Re: Gear/Wear FAQ (merge here)
ROUND, go with the round ones for sure...they will make tomahawks so much easier!
Re: Gear/Wear FAQ (merge here)
I got the round ones from bruised, and it improved my tomahawks so much! It is an option to get long or extra long bolt! I was going to get the extra long bolt and decided not to. I kind of wish I would have.

WHEELS!!!
Contemplating between the Atom G Rods (1.0 or 2.0???) and the Heartless (86 and 94 combo?) I'm figuring out wheel stuff...but does anyone have either of these kind of wheels and if so, how do you like them? I know that heartless are thinner, have you felt less stable since moving to those from flatouts or otherwise wider wheels?
tell me all about it.

I LOVE my G-rod and Sugar combo...lets me keep my speed, but grips around the corners. Never tried the thinner ones, but I think I'd prefer the thicker ones for stability. And I keep my flat-outs around in case we ever skate a super slick lfoor...then I can swap those for my G-rods, if necessary.
