Hey Missfits,
Thank you for nominating me to be on the HR committee! I will keep
this short and sweet. I am a people person and I try to be nice and
sincere to everyone. I think most of you can attest to this. Listening
to people and trying to figure out what is fair and best for everyone
is something that I do naturally. I am always told that I am easy to
talk to and non-threatening. I have been studying to get my Masters
in Social Work at ISU for the past three years, and part of that
education is learning how to problem solve during conflict. Even
though I am in school right now this is a committee I have always seen
myself in and I think it would be a good fit for me. I would do my
best to be there for anyone and stay impartial by not picking sides.
If you have been in any sort of conflict with me before you have seen
that I take steps to amend the situation and try to make peace. If you
nominate me I will do my best to put in a lot of effort into this
position and take it seriously.

Thank you for the HR nomination. I am supposed to give a little spiel of why you should vote for me. Im not the greatest at that so this won't be very long Why would I make a good addition to HR? Well for one, I have the time to do it since I am in only one committee, and I like to get things done. I hate when things take forever to get accomplished. I am a really good listener! I will listen to any and all issues you have. I am a problem solver. When I am presented with a problem, I like to look at the issue from all sides before drawing a conclusion. I am also fair and open minded. Everyone has issues and I'm no different than anyone else, and I will do my best to understand situations. I can handle stress and understand that this position can be very stressful, and I am prepared for that. Missfits rule!

Um, just curious...was my speech deemed too controversial? Too sexy? Just wondering why it didn't get added (because I am interested and didn't want anyone to think I was blowing off the nomination!!).

Not to get too wordy....but I am honored to be nominated for the HR position. Lately I have wanting to find a way to be more involved with the MissFits, because I truly love and respect this organization. I think I would be a good fit (ha!) for this position because I am pretty level-headed and can be impartial - even though I love you all!
