Board and HR Statement
Members of the board and HR met to work through the issues that the league has been faced with. After much discussion, we, as a united front would like to issue this statement.
We all acknowledge that the Board and HR both made mistakes in protocol and communication in the events of the last week. We apologize for disturbing the peace and well-being of the league and we are working through the process of changing the proper procedure for dealing with such incidents. We also recognize that the forum was, and is not the place to work through issues such as this. In the interest of preserving the peace and well-being of the league, all previous posts relating to this issue will be removed, and moving forward such posts will be immediately removed.
That being said, we have agreed that there will now be a profile for HR and one for the board on the forum. Any communication from either of these groups will be posted from their respective profile, rather than a specific member. We feel that this will remove any confusion when important decisions or statements need to be communicated to the whole league, and will prevent one specific member from having any backlash directed specifically at them.
Moving forward, the current members of HR will resume their duties in the interim until the poll closes, determining the path forward regarding HR.
The board and HR have come together on finding a solution to this issue. We hugged it out after the meeting and we would like to invite you all to a group hug on tonight at 6:30 at the Y.

Did this just come through weirdly late (it shows a post time of 9:41 am 3/1 for me), or was there supposed to be something tonight at the Y?

So what's the official procedure for disciplinary action and which groups are involved?
