10/6/13: Miracle League Buddies

We're going to be Miracle League Buddies! It's the last game of the fall season, and it is the All Star/end of season cookout.  It will be one game, 1:00-3:00pm at Anderson Park. Be there at 12:30 to get assigned with a buddy!

You get paired with a kid with either a physical or mental disability and help them play baseball! Should be really fun, and its a great opportunity to show that we are involved in our community/ are interested in other organizations. They'll take as many volunteers as we can get.

Yep you can find it on the website I provided. Just make sure you sign the waiver for 18 and Under. I just ask that you fax it or deliver it to them soon so they can arrange for her to have a buddy/get her a tshirt.

It's supposed to be chilly so dress warm!

Talked to Alicia from the Miracle League and the game is still on (I know some people were worried that the field would be rained out).

She said it might be a little muddy so don't wear your best shoes.
