Re: Gear/Wear FAQ (merge here)
another thing to consider is wieght too. Sorry I forgot to say that. I am having a hard time being ok with a harder wheel because I am very light. There was a link maybe on our fb page that had a pretty good chart for what type of wheel to get for size and I think position. I will look for it and post it here.

I had my butt padding on and I did fall on the side of my hip which has a padding as well. It has three pads on it...two on each of the hips and one on the tailbone. And I know Ivy had a bra pad on. How was that one Ivy?

New pads or just gaskets?
I'm not in love with my knee pads right now. Do I go ahead and upgrade (I'm still using the ones I got with my rookie package) or just get knee gaskets to keep them from sliding around?
I feel like I'll buy new ones eventually anyway, but would it make more sense to buy the gaskets and get a little more life out of the knee pads I have now?
Also, my wrist guards are dying a slow agonizing death and I need to put them out of their misery. What wrist guards do y'all like? I want to buy some for myself for my birthday.

If you're going to replace your knee pads eventually you might as well replace them now. Good knee pads are important.
I've never used gaskets so I can't say much about them but people be talking and they be saying cut up socks are like the same thing.
These are the wrist guards that I have and I love them. http://www.xsportsprotective.com/triple-eight-anti-glove.html
I've never had a problem with my hands and wrists when I've taken a fall and i've taken some pretty decent falls. Even if I do say so myself.
Hope that helps.

Need your name on your helmet?
So Santa was awesome this year and brought me a Silhouette machine. It works kinda like a printer but cuts instead of printing. And it cuts vinyl. Total sweetness. So, if anyone is in need of their name and number for their helmet, I can totally hook you up. I only have white vinyl right now, but green, silver and purple are on their way. I totally rocked out my helmet with my name, number and an awesome skull and crossbones decal today. I can use any font that's available on Microsoft Word. So why use stickers from the craft store over and over again when I can custom make you a decal? Just saying.

I'll take you up on the use of your nifty machine once I narrow down my 24 and counting name choices! Sounds like a party opportunity to moi...

Lucky you getting a Silhouette! I'm not sure exactly how your fonts work, but I've downloaded free fonts from www.dafont.com and moved the file into my Microsoft Word font folder to use in that program. It would be awesome if your machine could recognize those fonts by doing that...you'd have an endless selection!

Re: Gear/Wear FAQ (merge here)
did you also make your own armbands? Because Refness said they were having trouble seeing my number because of my tatoo. So, if you made your armbands, can you help me?

Meh..no big. I figured you were just texting and driving around on country roads, while checking the forum and taking pix of yourself behind the wheel with your mouthguard in.
