Putt Putt Fundraiser, August 10

Pheasant Lanes, 2-5 p.m., August 10

As with bowling, it would be best if each skater could make a team of non-MissFits. We will have a round of 18 teams starting at 2 and another 18 starting at 3:30 (if teams want to play two rounds, that is fine). Teams will be a max of 4 players. Other details coming soon.

I actually reserved it for 2-6, so that we didn't have to rush anyone through. There will be two rounds of 18 hole games (first starting at 2pm, 2nd starting around 330 or 4pm). They charge 4 dollars per person, and we can increase the charge as much as we want for our fundraiser.

How much should we charge for this? 

Or... how much do we want to make per person? They charge $4, we can increase the cost for our price.

Good question--it's a committee question.  Can you repost there so we can generate more ideas about how to make this fundraiser AWESOME?  Thanks, Mollz, for all your hard work!

First round is at 2pm, second round beginning at 330pm. 18 holes (teams) per round. Each person is $7 if they want to play 1 round ($14 if they want to play both rounds). Pheasant Lanes will collect $4 per person. They will not allow us to sell shots during this fundraiser, or have alcohol on the putt putt greens (but we can hangout in the beer garden after!) We could do a 50/50 for each round (ask them if they want to buy a ticket when they come in the door, but this is open for discussion). I was thinking the teams from each round can win bout tickets, however that would mean giving away 8 tickets- is this okay? We could also sell bout tickets during the event.

I can make another sign up for volunteers to run it, but besides money handler and 50/50, I'm not sure what else there is to volunteer for.

Mollz, yep, it is totally ok to give away tickets. I have a few gift cards and shirts too, but if sponsorship could get a few things, that would be great.

I've got myself and two other people confirmed for Putt Putt. One of the girls is going to try to bring a couple more friends.

Since my group is too prudish to use this name, I'm offering up "Putt Pirates" as a totally sweet team name that needs to happen. Just saying.
