Ross and Mollz have decided to decline nominations, soooo Ginger will continue on as HR Rep.

Here is her speech she submitted:

Darling Missfits: I am very excited to run again for the Human Resources Committee Representative. I can't believe the year has passed already. My main reason for wanting to be on the HR Committee has been to ensure that the rules apply fairly to every Missfit. I believe the HR Committee and I have worked very hard the past year to fairly enforce the rules and to make sure everyone’s voices were heard within the league.

Last year, when I ran for HR, I emphasized that fairness and following the rules were very important to me. I followed that belief to the utmost this year on HR. Every time an issue came up, I reviewed the bylaws, our approved policies, meeting minutes, and polls to make sure that we were following the policies that the league had approved. It was incredibly important that we enforce only the rules that we have set out. It is very important to me that the entire league trusts the HR committee, and I have worked hard along with the HR committee to try and ensure that trust from the league.

This year brought a lot of changes since our league bouted often, implemented new policies, and became more publicly visible. HR and I worked very hard this year to make sure that with all the changes that we explained things to the league so everyone understood what we expected from our members. As we continue to grow this year and as we vote on and implement new policies, I want to make sure that all these changes and what they mean are communicated to the league so everyone understands their role and their responsibilities in the league.

I love our league. I want to continue to ensure that every Missfit loves the league. I want to make sure that everyone’s voices are heard and that everyone can trust that the rules will be enforced equitably. It really has been a privilege to serve on the HR committee this past year, and I hope I can continue to do so. Thank you all!
