01/19/2013 Allstars vs Rockford Rage

Allstars (2012) will be headed to Rockford to take on the Rage. This is a double header event, the other bout is the men's team so this should be a fan freaking tastic event. It will also hopefully be our first offical WFTDA sanctioned bout eeep!

Rage skates on sports court. The same thing that was at the st.chux bout. they have a nice facility but we had a tiny lockeroom haha. i enjoyed playing there. and they are not joking about the closed skate session. i thought it was a little redic but whatev....

Wait, why are the 2012 AllStars going? That wasn't part of the vote and the 2013 AllStars would have a whole month to practice together.

Jackers, this was what we voted on. Interleague has to submit rosters by Sunday. Camp will be sending 20 names and we will finalize the roster to be as close to the 2013 team as possible.

In talking with the training committee we might not know the results of the tryouts until after Sunday. Therefore we would not be able to send in a 2013 Allstar roster.

WATER BOTTLES: We will have water at the venue at each bench. Please bring a reusable water bottle to fill.

* Please note that any spectators (i.e., derby widowers/widows, etc.) who come with the team cannot enter until 5:30, but they are welcome to hang out in the Sky Bar until time.

**We ask that skaters do not take the track until medical staff/athletic trainers are on site. You will be notified when you are able to take the track for warm ups should the set up be complete prior to your specified warm up times.

ALL SAFETY EQUIPMENT MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHILE SKATING ON/AROUND THE TRACK. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS

yes 4 left. list goes in on 1/12 so any unused tickets will go to families of skaters. We'd like to take care of you all first!

I plan on going. I normally just buy a ticket when I don't ref but if there is an extra I'll take it. Also is there a car pool or hotel situation being worked out?

I think a couple of us are staying...we can split a room, if needed!
