05/18/2013 Wanna B's vs Dupage Derby Dames

Looks like the As and Bs will be headed opposite directions on May 18th

The Wanna Bs will be taking on the Dupage Derby Dames in Roswell IL

Jersey colors will be WHITE!!

The DuPage Derby Dames pay $100 travel compensation to the Mclean County Missfits to bout the The DuPage Derby Dames on May 18th, 2013 in Roselle, IL.

The DuPage Derby Dames will provide:
-Compensated admittance for 14 skaters, 2 alternates, 2 bench coaches and 2 merchandise staff per team plus any participating refs or NSOs (this means no comp tickets, SRAWRY)
-Water at team bench and snacks in locker room
-Locker room. Due to space constraints the visiting locker room will be shared between the visiting A and B Teams.
-Selling accommodations for your team merchandise.

In addition, the DuPage Derby Dames will host an after party for the Mclean County Missfits immediately following the bout on May 18 2013. After party will be held at Time Out West 1130 E. Lake St Hanover Park, IL.
Hotel stay is available at the Extended Stay America 1075 W. Lake St., Hanover Park, IL. They can be reached at 630-893-4823. The hotel is located just minutes away from our bouting venue and across the street from our after party location.

*Day of bout schedule subject to change*
-Venue will be open at 4:30pm. Practice time before warm-ups may or may not be available at that time.
-All skaters, refs, NSOs and support staff arrive at 4:30pm
-All skater forms submitted before skating or by 5:00pm
-Refs and Captains meeting - no later than 5:30-5:45pm
-B Team Bout Starts at 6:00pm
-After Party - immediately following the bout, location Time Out West 1130 Lake St
Hanover Park, IL

They have asked for up to 3, let me know please if you will be able to go! Please keep in mind the Allstars will be in Marion this day too.

So what is the exact location of the place we will be skating in Roselle, IL because I have some family coming to this, AND does this mean that we have no comp tickets for people other than the skaters, refs, and rsos?

I'm driving up to this one if anyone needs a ride. Some of their refs are at Spring Roll so there's room for more refrees if any referees or NSO's are interested in going.

This is a fun group to hang out with so I'll probably go to the after party and get a hotel room. I know the country inn & suites has some good rates. Regular rooms are $99 but you can get a 2 bedroom suite with $119 with a king or two queens and a sofa sleeper. The more I look into suites, the better they seem because you can fit more people and the price isn't as bad as you'd think.

Howser, I just need a ride there, think you can fit me?

Thanks Howser! The other Wanna Bs are meeting at the garage off front street at 1:30, wanna meet there or somewhere else?

1:30 at the garage across from Rosie's works for me. We'll be getting there a little early. It's only a 2 hour drive.

That's all I needed to know, it's only a two hour drive so no big deal. And I travel up there fairly often.

My car will stay for a bit of the after party tho!

no one is staying? lame. I'll be there, Nico plays for Dupage, riding the motorcycle up tomorrow morning, staying at the country inn, I think.
