MissFits Christmas Party!!

Post  Camp on Sun Nov 14, 2010 4:00 pm

So I was thinking we should all get together and have a christmas party. I would love to host it at my place, but im not sure all 50+ people would fit comfy....
Perhaps we can all come up with some ideas...do we want to make it a mamas night out with your partners...or family friendly. Im good with whatev.
Should we do a white elaphant or secret santa...or sissfit gift exchange...
Ideas!!!

We could do upstairs at Lucca or maybe at that bar above Central Station (can't remember the name at the moment...). I don't think the room upstairs at Rosie's is big enough, do you?

If I'm voting, I call for a Mama's (and Papa's, if they so choose) night out.

I love the idea of a White Elephant AND a Secret Santa! We could so do both.

One other suggestion: Hold this party after the holidays because you know how crazy December gets. Plus, everything will be on super sale. Very Happy

1. Thanks for doing this, it was on my agenda to start poking around about a Christmas party santa

2. at one point someone mentioned a white elephant/derby sock gift exchange. We could all bring derby socks, but run it like a white elephant where you can steal other people's gift if you want it and then they have to pick again.

3. I agree it should be after Christmas because my December is filling up fast!

Ok so perhaps like the first weekend in Jan...and im all for mama's night out...a little holiday wind down to recover from all the family events.
I like the central station and lucca idea...I will check into both places.
Socks are a cute idea. I personally like to get something totally fun and awesome for my white elephant...but its whatev...maybe we can make a christmas party committee lol?!?

I love the derby sock idea AND having it in January. December is already over-booked for me and mine... santa

Ward and I had been talking about this-also making it our awards party/prom. So talk to her and see what she has to offer

I'm totally down for this. But maybe we should plan for the second or third week of Jan? I'm thinking it might be easier to find a place. Thoughts?

Remember we have a fundraiser on Jan. 22nd. We could always push it back to the beginning of February (right before the official season starts), especially if we are combining this with a derby prom/awards thing. I love that idea by the way!
